The duration of the training lasted till midnight. Our instructor was Mr Jin Wen and Mr Melvin. There were few schools such as Nanyang Polytenic. We were taking part in the Hip Hop segment. We were given two shirts, one is blue in colour while another is in pink in colour. We wore the pink shirt for the actual performance. :) The make up was a silver shade for the top part of the eye and a blue shade for the lower part. All the Secondary 1's had to perform.
My thoughts on it :
- It was truly amazing having the chance to perform and to represent Singapore for the Chingay festival 2011. I would love to participate in the next Chingay festival. This event made me realised and discover my talent as well as my confidence. At first my family thought that this event will affect my studies but i convinced them that it won't. For the school this event was very important. I had some difficulties in managing my time such as having a good night sleep but i manage to have a good night sleep by settling school stuffs the day before. On that day, i decided to concentrate and do the dance steps correctly. It was a good decision. If i still had the chance next time, I would go ALL OUT ! :D
